The Telecommunications Forum ─ Telflor 08 – was organised in the period between the 25th and the 27th of November, in the Sava Centar (Sava Centre). It was the first time the company Glečer (Glacier) attended this scientific meeting as a participant. Many attendees visited its stand and a great number of companies showed interest in future cooperation with our company. Valuable experience and business connections are an incentive for us to also take part in this significant forum in the following year.

The company Glečer (Glacier) participated in “The Jobfair 08 ─ create your future”, which was an employment fair organised for the technical-university’s students. This time, the company was a participant at the fair ─ at the following occasion, it will be an exhibitor. The company has succeeded in making good contacts and contributing towards the development of young engineers, as well as offering them a chance to upgrade their knowledge and skills through field and office work.

On the highway Beograd-Zagreb, at the section between Ikarbus and Autokomerc, we have constructed a 12 m-high megaboard with two  12x5 m boards, for the needs of Megabord Soravia company. This representative structure stands out among other structures of similar kind at that section of the highway with its appearance and quality. It is also very noticeable that the megaboard we constructed and erected is one of the biggest, as well as that it is located at an excellent position, in the way that enables passengers coming from both directions to fully view both boards.

This, second in a row, megaboard for our company, indicates that the Glečer company will, in its near as well as distant future, stride forward in the field of manufacture and mounting of large steel structures, within the same and similar projects as this one.
At the preparation stage is currently the construction of a 22x14 m megaboard located on a building in New Belgrade, which will prove our claims about the promptitude, functionallity and quality of our products and services.

Glečer company has signed two contracts with Nokia Siemens Network company, concerning the installation of 3G antenna systems in the whole territory of Serbia, for the needs of the mobile carrier Telenor. These contracts have established long-standing business relationships between the two companies and continued the cooperation that has always produced excellent results. As a pioneer of 3G installations in Serbia, Glečer has, as expected, achieved a favourable position during the first three months of this project.
Thanks to the good work, great commitment and correct business relations, the preparations are underway for signing of an identical contract concerning the installation of 3G system for the needs of the mobile carrier Telekom.

We are proud to point out that Glečer company accomplished significant growth and progress in many fields during the first half of the year. Besides the expansion of production and installation capacities, the company is recording both quantitative and qualitative improvements in human resources and technological equipment. In accordance with the contracts and client’s requirements, we are continually working on increase of production, introducing new management methods both in medium and top levels of management. The cooperation with renowned consulting companies as well as procurement of new equipment through highly ranked representatives are providing us with new options in achieving the ever-higher business goals.
